Week 9: After Effects Exercise

LECTURE

Mr. Fauzi went through the submitted project 2B student works and gave some feedback. Later on, he showed us how he animate using Adobe After Effects as well as advised us to start installing the software.

PRACTICAL

For this week's exercise, we were assigned to animate an existing file composition that the lecturer has provided.

I had a hard time getting familiar with Adobe After Effects since it is my first time using it. The interface is very minimalistic which makes it pretty hard to understand in one glance. Also, I experienced this strange issue several times, everytime I wanted to explore the software, I fell asleep not long after. I wonder if After Effects contains some kind of melatonin in it? Well, nobody knows. Hahahaha.

Before animating it in After Effects, I tried to apply some colour adjustments as well as creating another composition. It was just for fun though, I stayed with the original file just in case we are not allowed to do any changes.
